--The Hurt Locker--

After today's surprising 82nd Oscars Award, which i thought the best motion picture would be credited to Avatar.. Nevertheless, The Hurt Locker won more awards than Avatar!

I was amazed actually. I am watchin' The Hurt Locker now, and found their use of military terms are quite interesting, this movie definitely show the world how the US army were in the Iraq war and I'm quite touched by this movie. Very interesting plot, kept me thinkin' about those cool gadgets that were used, although i know the gadgets are highly sensitive weapons that can blast one into pieces of ash.

Way to go!! EOD rocks! how i wish i could serve the country; to be part of the bomb disposal team! isn't it great to be a bomb defuser? LOL i must be out of my mind!
yea,, but its a way of expression of a true patriot!

hmm after this, maybe i'll watch invictus tmr.. heard that morgan freeman acted as nelson mandela??!! my gosh i always thought they were the same person (or had some relation) but they really look alike >.<"

anyways this is what i had learn from The Hurt Locker today:

"The rush of battle is often a potent and lethal addiction, for war is a drug."-- Chris Hedges

I didnt get this quote until the end of the movie, don't want to spoil the film, so if you're curious, go take a look! ps. not suitable for people who cannot take vulgar language and violent (disturbing) images. There were about 2 scenes that were disturbing, other than that it should be ok.

Continue from Chris Hedges "War exposes the capacity for evil that lurks just below the surface within all of us." this sounded as if there's just no "good" people surviving on this world isn't it? Samborn said something really meaningful in the film, if our parents (the closest ones) couldn't support us, what are we in the outside world? (for them in the desert) who else could we ever trust in this life? Everyday people live in lies and fears and betrayal somehow we just lost our sense of belonging..

When you are all alone, no one is going to save you; only you are going to get yourself out of that situation. Life is a battle of wars, victory or defeat, you are the one who choose it. The chance is 50/50 either you win or loose, but in life, things do not last forever, you will win and you will loose. In the end, it does not matter who wins or looses, what matters are the history that were written in your memory. When the whole world is going against you, stand firm on your feet! Don't surrender to your fears! Pick up the gun and fire!! When the border line is drawn clear, show no mercy!

Mamamia the apathised world >.<" its just like hello apathy, goodbye empathy.

overall, kind of an interesting documentary to people who are interested in history and war film, other wise keep the peace @_@!

alright peace out world!
